Tomorrow is the 150th anniversary of the birth of Henri Desgrange – the ‘Father’ of the Tour de France. I’ve been busy organising a little social ride in Greenwich in honour of the fact. That has meant I haven’t had time to write about it here but thankfully the excellent Brian Palmer over at The Washing Machine Post has done me the service of a preview write-up.
You can read Brian’s article here: http://twmp.net/greenwich_grande_boucle/
And learn more about the #GGB here: https://www.facebook.com/greenwichgrandboucle
A full write-up from me will appear in due course. If you can’t make it to Greenwich remember to raise a glass to the old man at some point tomorrow. We have a lot to be thankful to him for.
